The cast-off body " Server/Shuuhen/Sekai (Server/Society/World)" performance was reorganized.

March 11th, 2011 - costuming and props were mostly complete. In that time when we were in final rehearsals, in a single moment everyone in the group fell to the point where we were questioning our existences. Twitter was the most helpful tool in affirming our existence.

Even so, after the earthquake disaster, why did so many people flock to Twitter or other places on the internet? Everyone was urged on by their anxiety to graze over their experience of that moment and make use of all the materials to talk about the "image of the earthquake disaster." It's as though if one didn't talk about it they would lose their identity...
However, how much of that "image of the earthquake disaster" is "me"?
The distinction between what is real and what is fake is already coming loose.
In this country, exactly how much do people understand the complicated history of nuclear power plants? Exactly how much do people understand the precise situation concerning everything in the area struck by the disaster?

The majority of our "image of the earthquake disaster" does not go beyond the accumulation of quoted trifling information. However our bodies themselves perceived the shaking of the earth.
We saw the relationship between the word "server" representing the information and the word "world" representing ourselves as a dyadic confrontation.
However, something that is even crueler about that connection is the aporia. We certainly have bodies that are like husks. However, what is stuffed inside of them?

Isn't it that when we think of ourselves as we recognize ourselves that it is actually completely intertwined with information from the outside?
We cling to the information media when we're driven by anxiety. However, the information media is empty. All it does is connect and disconnect the things dotting this world, but it of itself has no substance. Can we really clarify who we really are from such circumstances?

The key phrase in Ibsen's play, "Peer Gynt," is decidedly "who am I personally?" In today's Japan where that question hangs in the air opposite itself, let us think about it together by way of the play's musical performances at Sogakudo Concert Hall.
